You really got me with those first two sentences! My new year’s resolution for 2012 and 2013 was to establish a meditation practice. I didn’t set a resolution this year, but I have started meditating anyway. Interestingly, I’m only doing it for 10 minutes a day just five days a week. I think my problem in the past is I was expecting myself to meditate for 20 minutes seven days a week and it was just too much to start with. I’m curious about Puddicombe’s approach, however; so I’m gonna check him out. Thanks for sharing this Anne! Celeste 🙂
Hi Celeste, thank you for your comment! Yes small steps go a long way. It’s a great way to start – and maybe the only way if we want to stick with it and make a habit out of it. I really enjoy Andy Puddicombe’s approach! I have done Take 10, Take 15 and I only have a few days left of Take 20 – loving it and feeling all the benefits 🙂
