I envy your being in Copenhagen for the holidays. My ancestors emigrated from Denmark. My favorite writer is Isak Dinisen who lived at Rungstedlund after returning from East Africa. I hope to visit Copenhagen and Rungstedlund in the near future. Have a wonderful holiday. thank you for posting this.
Richard I really hope you will make the trip to visit Copenhagen, Rungstedlund and all the many beautiful places here! Make sure you come in the springtime or summer.
I saw a very interesting documentary the other night about Isak Dinesen’s life. She was an amazing woman with an extraordinary life!
I send you the link to the documentary. It is a Danish documentary but mostly in English. The music playing in the background is from her private music collection.
I really enjoyed the program.
Thank you so much for sending the link
